no. that´s mine. get your own!

yesterday maría luisa came into my room looking for a shirt she had lost. she said it was a white tank top that was a gift from the mother of a former student. i said, "well, i have a white tank top, but it´s mine." and i showed it to her. she said, "sí, sí, esa es la mía." (yes, yes, that is mine.) and i said, "no i don´t think so." and she went and got a beige one out of her drawer that happened to be the exact same brand. but i know that it´s mine. she went on to tell me that she had washed hers this week and that it was missing. and i went on to tell her that i had also washed mine and that i was pretty sure it was mine. and then she took it. communication is ridiculous when you don´t speak the same language...

in other news, i leave tomorrow for a week in dublin, rome, florence, and pisa. i expect that it will be lovely!

Hiya sister loo - if you haven't left already - when in Rome, no don't do as the Romans (smoking while riding a vespa is a nasty habit), but instead go to a restaurant called Myosotis and tell them to give you whatever they think is best - it will be a fantastic meal - one of the best of your life. In Dublin - go to Temple Bar area and check out Trinity College zone - also, definitely do the Guinness tour so you can kneel and pay hommage at the black gates. In Florence - hit the leather market by the Duomo and get gelato at the place on the river just off the Ponte Vecchio (on the "downtown" side)- again fantastico. Also, if you can take a day trip to Tuscany out of Florence (rent a car) - hit up the Gabbiano vineyard and a town called Sienna and/or Greve in Chianti - both are bellisimo. I am totally jealous...

Hi Joey,
Hope you have a good time on your trip. Maybe pick up a white tank top while you are out. ha Oh well no point in arguing bottom line she fixes your food!!
Meadowbrook girls and guys won their semifinal games in the tournament today.Yeah!! They each will place at least second. Girls beat Norry and the boys Columbia County Christian. Andy played his best game this year I think. Coach said the same. Happy for him.You probably won't get this before you leave but we will be praying you have good time and experience lots of new things, Wish I was with you Will call soon. Mama Loves
